Successful architect-engineer Tom Gregory, returning to Abu Dhabi where he spent his childhood, undergoes a series of adventures before discovering the lost city of Muscalat - and a treasure worth more than gold.
In the early 1960's, Tom's idyllic childhood is spent exploring the desert with his father Peter Gregory (Simon MacCorkindale), a British representative and amateur archaeologist. A few days after he sent Tom to boarding school, Peter disappears without trace while flying to a remote archaeological site.
27 years later Tom, now a successful architect-engineer, is sent to Abu Dhabi to investigate a thermal energy project. While rediscovering Abu Dhabi, his curiosity is piqued by Caroline, a young and vivacious French archaeologist fascinated by his father's quest to discover the legendary city of Muscalat with its golden pillars.
Equipped with his father's diaries Tom and Caroline set out in search of the lost city. After a series of adventures Tom and Caroline find Muscalat and to their amazement discover a treasure far greater than gold - the key to paradise…
